WHICH NISSAN SUV IS RIGHT FOR YOU?
Although Nissan is perhaps best known for the world’s top-selling electric car, one of the world’s most affordable souped-up exotic cars in the GT-R Nismo, and their advancements in autonomous driving, the Japanese automaker is also a manufacturer of some of the leading SUVs on the market. With six crossovers and SUVs, Nissan is sure to have a vehicle to suit your needs.
NISSAN ARMADA
The 2019 Nissan Armada is the definition of versatility, offering loads of cargo space, unbeatable power, and tons of upscale features. A 5.6-liter direct-injection V-8 engine does the heavy lifting for the Armada, touting 390 horsepower, 394 pound-feet of torque, and up to 8,500 pounds of raw towing power. The Nissan Intelligent Mobility safety suite gives the Armada a four-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. To round out its features, the Armada also has seating for eight and a mammoth total cargo capacity of 171.1 cubic feet.
NISSAN PATHFINDER
Thanks to a rugged, yet sleek design, the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder is always looking to blaze new trails. To harness the Pathfinder’s power, opt for Nissan’s intelligent all-wheel drive, which sends torque and grip to each one of the tires when you need it most. With 284 horsepower, 259 pound-feet of torque, and 6,000 pounds of towing capacity, the 3.5-liter V-6 under the hood is a true workhorse. Third-row seating provides room for seven passengers and the surprisingly capacious interior offers 79.5 cubic feet of cargo space.
If you’re using the Pathfinder as a family vehicle, you’ll also love its five-star rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, as well as a Top Safety Pick nod from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
NISSAN KICKS
The 2019 Nissan Kicks replaces the legendary Juke, much to the chagrin of many Juke fans. However, one ride in the Kicks, and you’ll see that it boots away the competition. Rocking a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine under the hood, this compact crossover expertly melds power and efficiency. With 122 horsepower, 114 pound-feet of torque, and a best-in-class 36 mpg on the highway and 31 mpg in the city, the Kicks has a little bit of everything. Inside, the Kicks has seating for five and 32.3 cubic feet of cargo space — more than double the average sedan trunk size.
NISSAN ROGUE
One of last year’s top-ten-selling vehicles, the 2019 Nissan Rogue is back again with more features and amenities than ever. The most intriguing feature just might be Nissan ProPilot Assist. This set of semi-autonomous safety features takes the reins on long hauls, helping to mitigate accidents or other incidents. A 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine provides 170 horsepower, 175 pound-feet of torque, and up to 1,100 pounds of towing capacity. Seating for five and a total cabin area of 70 cubic feet rounds out the excellent specs on this midsize crossover.
From the full-size Armada to the adorable Kicks, the Nissan SUV lineup runs the gamut against its competitors. Schedule a test drive today to see what makes this fleet a cut above the rest.
