The 2013 Nissan Altima helps the driver out with tire inflation.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you are aware that the 2013 Nissan Altima is coming soon. And with the Altima comes new technologies, like the new Nissan Altima tire technology. This new system changes the game in such a simple way by helping drivers out with their tire pressure – something that consumers sometimes struggle to handle. It’s all part of a day’s work for Nissan, as the company continues to make great new cars in San Antonio for us here at Ingram Park Nissan.
Nissan Altima tire technology
As for the Nissan Altima tire technology, it’s really very simple. If any of the Altima’s tires are low, the car will let the driver know on the display panel and indicate which tire is low. Then, when the driver reaches the first available air station, the technology kicks in to help again. First the four-way flashers light up to let the driver know that air is actually going into the tire. When the tire has reached proper inflation level, the horn sounds to alert the driver.
The Nissan Altima tire technology is a relatively simple concept, but not one that had been invented prior to this. The car even helps the driver out in the case that they do put too much air in the tire.
“It’s one of those simple slap your forehead moments, as to why someone has not thought of it before,” said Nissan Production Planner Vishnu Jayamohan.
This Nissan Altima tire technology gives us just one more reason to anticipate the arrival of the 2013 Nissan Altima. Until then, remember we stock new and used cars in San Antonio right here at IPAC.
